What I liked about Namibia

Namibia has some of the most stunning landscape I have seen. If like me, you are an avid photographer, love nature at its rugged and untamed best, then put Namibia at the top of your travel list.

Consider all that you can see in Namibia. There’s Etosha National Park (where you can see elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, rhinoceroses), world’s oldest and biggest sand dunes (Namib Desert), amazing African skies (one night I stepped outside of my tent in the desert at 4 am and saw the Milky Way), Africa’s largest canyon (Fish River Canyon), Skeleton Coast where massive sand dunes battle it out with the Atlantic Ocean, rugged Damaraland, 6,000 year old rock carvings at Twyfelfontein…the list goes on!

Plus, Namibia is very safe and friendly.

And it is the second least densely populated country in the world. Fewer crowds mean more nature to enjoy by yourself, which adds to Namibia’s endless list of charms.

Namibia Travel Tips
  • While I was very impressed by Southern Namibia, I found Northern Namibia to be equally impressive (maybe even more!). Ideally, you should combine both...

  • Southern Namibia has some of the most out-of-this-world scenery I have seen! I spent 3 days and 2 nights in the area and you can read about it here......
